Mark Tami has supported the Energy Bill Revolution by signing parliamentary EDM 47, calling on the government to use the money it gets from carbon taxes to make homes super-energy efficient.

There is a great opportunity with carbon taxes to reinvest this back into our most in need properties throughout the UK and to give people more energy efficient homes. The more that we can do this now, the more our energy consumption will less rely on our natural resources which are forever depleting. A serious concerted effort is needed sooner rather than later which will not only reduce bills, keep our homes warm, reduce energy consumption but also save lives. - Mark Tami MP
